Christine Crone

Christine Crone defended her PhD in 2017 with Jakob Skovgaard-Petersen as supervisor. Currently she is part of the collective research project Archiving the Future: Recollections of Syria in War and Peace, at Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (UCPH). Her research interests are Arab media, ideology, and the role of images in conflicts – often with an overall focus on Syria and Lebanon. She is the author of Pan-Arab News TV Station al-Mayadeen: The New Regressive Leftist
Media (2020).
