After the seminar, all participants are invited to a reception celebrating the re-edition of A.W.Dinesen’s book from 1840 “Abd-el-Kader og Forholdene mellem Franskmænd og Arabere I det nordlige Afrika”, with an introduction by Rasmus Alenius Boserup and Francois Pouillon.
The reception will be hosted by the C.L.David Foundation.

The seminar is organised by the editors and publishers of the Carsten Niebuhr Book series in cooperation with the C.L.David Foundation and Collection, the Carsten Niebuhr Dept. at the University of Copenhagen, the Danish Defence College and Det Kgl.Garnisonsbibliotek.
